This club was formed, in part,
so we could all achieve something noble in our lives. We want
to leave a powerful legacy, and create wonderful, lasting memories
of a lifetime full of hope, gentility, encouragement, and
innocence. To accomplish this there must be an element of reverence
and respect in our conduct at all times either on an adventure or in
the meetings.
The use of alcohol and tobacco
is prohibited. This is a time for you to set an example for
those around you. Additionally, profanity and disrespectful
behavior will not be tolerated. Remember, lots of young eyes will
be watching you.
We all want to get together
and enjoy these adventures while encouraging and uplifting one
another. It is up to us Dads to be sensitive to the environment
that we create.
Although this club is represented by many faiths and
denominations, the Bible has some words of wisdom in this
regard.
In Philippians it says “Finally,
brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if
anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Remember, we are raising
Knights! And we want our sons to think of us as Heroes! Heroes
stand for everything good and fair in the world. Let’s become the
heroes our sons want us to be.
